Jason Roy fined for violation of code of conduct

According to Roy, he violated PSL policy when Asif Yaqoob accused him of being behind Shaheen Shah Afridi.

LAHORE: Quetta Gladiators’ Jason Roy has been fined 5% of his match charge for a Level 1 break of the PSL Code of Conduct during his side’s eight-wicket rout against Lahore Qalandars in the twentieth match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2022 at the Gaddafi Stadium on Sunday.

Roy was found to have disregarded Article 2.21 of the PSL Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which connects with “lead that brings the game into notoriety,” following his response after he was pronounced gotten behind by Asif Yaqoob off Shaheen Shah Afridi.
